Withdrew from event due to injury. After 1 mile both shins went red, and solid, and became extremely painful. Tried to stretch it out, massage it off, and run through it, but in the end it was painful just to walk. Also, driving home was painful.

Fantastic event though, so will have this in my diary for next year as it looked a fast course.
